Biography
Stacy has over 40 years of active trading and investing experience. Although he spent 20 years in manufacturing, he has always been passionate about all things financial. After graduating with an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a MBA in Finance, Stacy spent 7 years at Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase) in a variety of financial analysis, strategic planning and risk management roles. He was one of the founding members of the Bank’s mortgage securitization group where he was responsible for the interest risk management associated with mortgage originations targeted for securitization.
Stacy left the banking industry to become a minority partner in a manufacturing company. After 15 years of significant growth, the company was sold to a much larger public company. He ran global operations for a nutritional products company and then finished his manufacturing career running a company for a private equity firm.
Over the last 10 years, Stacy has traded stocks, ETFs, futures and foreign exchange for his own account. Options have been at the core of his trading activities as they provide so many unique opportunities to construct the desired return/risk profile in any market conditions. He trades options for directional and non-directional, unusual acitivity and earnings opportunities.
Stacy has been a CFA charterholder since 2021.
