Mark Timm is a Master Collaborator who empowers, influences, and inspires. His passion is providing individuals, families, and organizations with resources they can trust to thrive in a chaotic world.
Mark is CEO of Xponential, Inc. and co-founder of Top Performance Group, Inc. with Kevin Harrington, original Shark from ABC’s Shark Tank.
He serves as CEO of Ziglar Family, a charitable foundation he started with his wife, Ann Timm, and Zig Ziglar’s son and daughters, and also as Executive Vice President of Ziglar, Inc.
Mark is an in-demand speaker, having addressed worldwide audiences numbering in the millions. Among the most memorable of these speeches was the opportunity to introduce the President of the United States on national television.
Mark is a successful serial entrepreneur who has started 15 businesses - seven of which he has exited with equity events. In 2008, he sold a company he co-founded in 1993 which became the #1 musical gift company in North America. He bought it back in 2016, and then sold it again in 2018 for a greater equity event. His most recent equity event was a top-100 Amazon business.
In his early career, before beginning his entrepreneurship journey, Mark worked for President George H. W. Bush in the White House, as well as for Kellogg’s, the National FFA, and as the Director of Marketing for USA Today.
Mark was profoundly affected by meeting America's most influential and beloved encourager, Zig Ziglar, while serving as the FFA National President at the age of 19. He has been a lifelong practitioner of Mr. Ziglar’s philosophy of serving others, which came full-circle when Mark was appointed Executive Vice President of Ziglar, Inc. in 2016.
Among his various roles and titles, Mark’s most valued role is that of CEO for what he has coined “the most valuable business in the world,” which is his family. He is the proud dad of 6 amazing kids who all are shareholders in this “family business,” along with his wife, Ann.
